HIPAA
While GlobalVetCo is a veterinary platform and not directly subject to HIPAA (which applies to human health information), we take data privacy seriously. We offer Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for Clinic plan subscribers who may handle data subject to other privacy regulations. Our infrastructure meets HIPAA-grade security standards.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for 7 years). Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
